Leadership and Stakeholders of Ibori-Suenu Grassroots Network, ISGN, a formidable political organization committed towards the promotion of effective representation and excellent leadership as offered by Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, has vowed to ramp up their support for all APC candidates in the forthcoming 2027 election.
This formed part of the resolution reached at a recent extraordinary/strategic meeting held by the leadership and members of the group held on the 24th Of May 2026,at the instance of the Principal and Ethiope Federal Representative of the Constituency, Rt Hon Erhiatake Ibori Suenu.
The national chairman of ISGN, Chief Andrew Majemite, while speaking at the well-attended meeting on behalf of the group, expressed total alliance with the position of the federal representative in all ramifications, assuring that members would diligently and unambiguously carry out all directives and responsibilities expected of them.
He pledged the commitment of ISGN towards strengthening support, unity and stakeholder engagement in line with the developmental vision directives of the Representative just as he urged members to remain active and committed in their various wards, units and communities towards promoting unity,participation and the continued success of the APC party and constituency leadership.
Majemite thanked the Honourable member of the House of Reps, for convening what he described as a very important and timely meeting, just as he appreciated her consistent show of empathy, compassion and concern towards the constituents during periods of celebration and moments of grief.
While addressing the group, Hon. Erhiatake thanked the members for their renewed commitment towards victory ahead just as she appreciated them copiously for their unwavering support throughout her political journey.
Erhiatake stated that such loyalty, unity and confidence reposed in her by members of the group would never be taken for granted, promising that
more developmental projects and empowerment programmes are currently underway and would soon be unveiled for the benefit of constituents.
The lawmaker representing Ethiope federal constituency equally thanked party leaders, stakeholders and constituents across the constituency for their understanding, maturity and sacrifices in ensuring that the earlier reconciliation process was sustained and reaffirmed during the party’s consensus primary election ahead of the 2027 general elections.
She described the peaceful consensus and overwhelming endorsement as a reflection of the confidence the people have in her performance and leadership within the last three years.
The Federal Representative particularly expressed deep appreciation to the President , His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the State Governor, His Excellency Sheriff Oborevwori for the fatherly roles they played in ensuring peace, unity and reconciliation within the party, which ultimately led to the successful consensus process.
Hon. Ibori-Suenu, therefore called on all members of the ISGN and the entire constituency to continue strengthening unity, stakeholder engagement and support for the APC party’s developmental vision at both the state and federal levels,and indeed at all levels, adding that ISGN and the entire constituency be prepared when the time comes to mobilize grassroots support for The President,The Governor and all APC party candidates in the 2027 general elections.
“This is a pay back time, The President ,and The Governor ,deserve our maximum support and votes,haven demonstrated commitment to development and therefore merit the continued goodwill and support of the people.Their elections should be treated as our collective project, and our Ethiope Federal constituency must deliver one of the highest votes in the state”, she stated
The vibrant member of the House of Representatives also reminded members of the ISGN and constituents about the ongoing Permanent Voter Registration (PVR) exercise. She encouraged those who are yet to register or validate their voter cards to take advantage of the opportunity, while also urging youths who have attained the age of 18 to register, describing it as an important civic responsibility and democratic obligation of every eligible citizen.
Hon. Erhiatake noted that the numerous dividends of democracy attracted to the constituency have provided enough achievements to inspire continued confidence among the people.
These, according to her include road projects, educational support initiatives, free healthcare interventions, installation of solar streetlights, solar powered water projects,provision of transformers, facilitation of foreign scholarships, permanent employment opportunities/appointments of political aides to principal officials of the national legislature/NDDC, skills acquisition/training,provision of starter packs,monthly stipends and various empowerment programmes involving buses, tricycles, cars, trucks,mobile kiosks,and other support packages.
The Representative also reiterated her determination to pursue the passage of several bills she initiated at the National Assembly, describing them as “people-oriented bills” capable of bringing significant positive impacts and transformative development to the constituency.
The Amazon further disclosed that more developmental projects and empowerment programmes are currently underway and would soon be unveiled for the benefit of constituents.
The meeting also reaffirmed that the ISGN remains committed to the ideals, rules and principles of the party, noting that the majority of its members are loyal party faithful dedicated to strengthening the party structure.
