Senator Ede Dafinone representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has commiserated with the people of Delta North Senatorial District, particularly the Nwaoboshi’s family over the demise of Senator Peter
Nwaoboshi whose news of his death in London was reported today.
Dafinone, in a statement he personally signed and released today, expressed deep shock over the sudden loss of the former Senator and chieftain of the APC just as he condoled with the family
“I received with deep shock the news of the sudden demise of former Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi, a distinguished statesman and one of Nigeria’s influential political figures.
“His passing is a painful loss not only to his immediate family but also to Delta State and the Nigerian political community at large.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s family, the people Delta North, Niger Delta, and his political associates”, he said.
Reflecting on the life and times of the late politician, Dafinone paid tributes to his political sagacity, stressing that he wisely recognized for his wisdom and strategic insight earned him the toga of ” “Political Oracle”.
Dafinone recalled that the late Delta North politician served a two-time senator on the platform of the PDP after serving as a two-term state chairman of the same party, adding that until his death, he was a chieftain of the APC in the state.
“The late Senator Nwaoboshi was widely respected for his depth of political wisdom and strategic insight, which earned him the well-known sobriquet “the Political Oracle” in Delta politics.
“Senator Nwaoboshi served Nigeria with dedication as a two-time Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District and as a two-term Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.
“Until his death, he remained a committed chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), where his experience and counsel continued to enrich the progressive cause in the state”, he recalled.
Dafinone prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
