Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly has congratulated renowned top class journalist, Mr. Mideno Bayagbo on his 65th birthday, describing him as epitome of professionalism, integrity and commitment to truth.
Dafinone who, in a goodwill message, described the milestone as more than just a celebration of life, noted that the iconic journalist’s demonstration of astute leadership and contribution to democratic values.
“This milestone is not only a celebration of your life but also a tribute to a remarkable career defined by excellence, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to truth.
“Through your editorial leadership, you helped shape national discourse, strengthened democratic values, and inspired countless journalists who continue to draw from your depth of knowledge and professionalism”, he said.
Dafinone also reflected that the celebrant’s excellent professionalism has been a sour of inspiration for the younger generation of journalists, adding that Bayagbo’s professional practice is a hallmark of responsible journalism.
He prayed for God’s protection and renewed strength wishing him many more fruitful years.
“Your enduring relevance speaks volumes about your passion for responsible journalism and your dedication to informing and enlightening society.
“As you celebrate this special day, I pray that God grants you sound health, renewed strength, and many more years of fulfilment and service. May your legacy of excellence continue to inspire generations”, he said.
