Exactly three months before the National Assembly election scheduled for January 16, 2027, the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Okakuro Ede Dafinone, in his continuation of his commitment to the welfare of his constituents, is busy supervising and delivering infrastructural projects and executing various empowermemt programmes across the Senatorial districts.
Whilst other parties’ candidates are busy organizing campaign rallies with rented crowds, Senator Ede Dafinone who is the APC Delta Central Senatorial candidate for the January 16, 2027 election is busy supervising and delivering people-oriented projects across the Delta Central Senatorial District.
The latest of such projects which are just completed and already awaiting commissioning are the Jesse Market Solar Water Project and the Edjenesa Solar Water Project – all in Idjerhe kingdom of Ethiope West LGA.
It would also be recalled that just last month, Senator Dafinone Completes the installation and delivery of a 500 kva Electricity transformer in Akpere Olomu in Ughelli South Local Government Area and another one in Orogun in Ughelli North Local Government Area – all in Delta Central Senatorial District.
Fielding questions from newsmen in Warri yesterday, the Chief of Staff to Senator Ede Dafinone, Olorogun Barr. ADELA u Ejiroghene Bodjor, stated that though it was campaign times, the Senator is prioritizing projects delivery and empowerment of his constituents, adding that it was actually his achievements that campaign for him.
“The Senator is more concerned with the welfare of his constituents, hence he is devoting most of his time to the supervision and completion of his Constituency projects even when others are going about organizing rallies.
“We have just completed the Edjenesa-Jesse solar-driven water project and the Jesse Market solar water projects – all in Idjerhe kingdom, Ethiope West LGA. The people are already enjoying potable water.
“I’m sure you are aware of the 500 Kva Electricity transformer which the Senator installed in Akpere Olomu to boost power supply to two communities including the palace of HRM Albert Akpomuje, the Owhorode of Olomu kingdom recently. The royal father and the people of Olomu were full of praises for the Senator.
“The Senator’s plethora of achievements speak volume and in fact, the infrastructural projects and empowermemt programmes already executed by Senator Ede Dafinone are already campaigning for him across the Senatorial District”, he said.
Commending the intervention of Senator Dafinone in the provision of potable water for the people of Edjenesa-Jesse and the water project located at the Jesse Market, a cross-section of the people expressed satisfaction, adding that lack of potable water has for long been a problem bedeviling the communities.
“God bless our Most Distinguished Senator Ede Dafinone for giving us this project amidst other empowerment and employment of our son’s and daughters in his first three years in office. No doubt your second tenure will bring more legacy project to our kingdom.
“Come 2027, Idjerhe people shall give you full load of our votes to return back to the red Chamber”, Omorophikpe GIFT said.
