Member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and her political group, the Ibori Suenu Grassroots Network (ISGN), have expressed deep shock on the loss of the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Speaker, Dr. Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu which sad event occurred on Saturday, 7th March,2026.

In a condolence message to the Hon. Speaker jointly signed by the leaders and members of ISGN, the group recalled that the late Deputy Chief of Staff did his job diligently with dedication and loyalty, adding that he carried on his duties with professionalism and a sense of responsibility.

“Rt. Hon. Speaker, the late Deputy Chief of Staff served your office and the institution of the House with remarkable dedication, loyalty, and professionalism.

“In the course of his duties, he played a vital role in coordinating parliamentary engagements, overseeing staff operations within your office, and supporting the effective execution of your legislative responsibilities as the leader of the House.

“Beyond these official responsibilities, he stood as a dependable pillar within the administrative framework of your office. His ability to facilitate effective coordination between your office, Honourable Members of the House, party leadership, government officials, and parliamentary staff contributed immensely to the smooth functioning of the Speaker’s office and the stability of the legislative leadership”, the group noted.

The group further explained that while the passing of the Deputy Chief of Staff was a huge loss to the National Assembly, the government, his State and family and friends will miss him greatly.

“His sudden passing therefore represents a painful and significant loss – not only to your office and the House of Representatives – but also to the government, the people of his state, and the many individuals whose lives he touched through his service.

“As a political family working under a distinguished Member of the House of Representatives, Hon.Erhiatake Ibori Suenu, the ISGN shares deeply in this moment of grief.

“We the under signed, on behalf of our Principal and the members of ISGN political family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to you, Rt. Hon. Speaker, the leadership and members of the House of Representatives, the government and people of the deceased’s state and local government area, his colleagues and associates, and most especially his immediate family (from Ute-Okpe Ika N.E of Delta State)

“Rt. Hon. Speaker, in this difficult moment, the Ibori Suenu Grassroots Network stands in solidarity with you and the Leadership of the House.We pray that God grants you the strength and wisdom to continue providing steady leadership to the institution despite the painful loss”, the group assured.
