In a bid to put the Council revenue drive on a very strong footing, the Executive chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council Area, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, has constituted a 7-man Revenue Sub-Committee on Public Motor Parks with Chief Gowon Egoide as the chairman.

Other members of the Sub-Committee include Comrade Efe Ekaje – Secretary, Mary Okoloko – Financial Secretary,
Godspower Oharisi – member, Mr. Christopher Imoniunu – member, Mr. Johnson Orhi – member and Arthur Onoberhie – member.

Also inaugurated as members of the Sub-Committee are Mr. Felix Olokpa – member, Godwin Akpojotor – member
and Mr. Oghenedoro Ewhubare – member.

The appointment which was contained in a letter signed by the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun (Barr) Jaro Omovudu Egbo, dated September 6, 2024 and made available by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Efe Ekete,

The Council chairman urged the members to work closely with the Head of Revenue, the Local Government Council to ensure effective discharge of their duties and Responsibilities..

Speaking with our correspondent shortly after the appointment, the new chairman of the Sub-Committee, Chief Gowon Egoide thanked the Executive Chairman of the Council, Olorogun Egbo for finding worthy for the position, adding that “on behalf of myself and my members, it is our promise that we shall betray the confidence the Executive chairman has reposed on us”.

He also assured that the “Sub-Committee will do everything within its power to collaborate with the Head of Revenue of the Council to improve on the Council revenue base.”
