His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege
The leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State has congratulated the former Deputy President of Senate, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, on the occasion of his 61st Birthday celebration.
In a statement conveying the goodwill message to the Distinguished Senator, signed by the State chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, the Party eulogized the Obarisi of Urhoboland for his patriotic and selfless leadership, describing him as a champion who is fully dedicated to the betterment of his people and humanity in general.
The State Chairman stated further that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as the immediate past Deputy President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 9th Senate and the Governorship Candidate of the Party in the 2023 governorship election, strives daily, to prove himself as a principled, courageous and dedicated champion of the betterment of our people and common humanity.
“Imbued with sound progressive leadership values and strengths in great measures, your creed is the greater good of the people and unwavering commitment to societal development and growth based on our cherished old values and modern innovations. Thankfully, these people-driven leadership virtues have etched your good name in the consciousness of our society”, the statement noted.
Elder Sobotie showered encomium on the former Deputy of the Senate, pointing out that the Party is proud of him, especially for the courage and principle which he introduced into public governance, assuring him of the prayers and support of the people in his endeavours as he celebrates a new age.
“Your Excellency, we are proud of your principled, passionate, courageous and selfless leadership in our public governance space. For this and more, we will always solicit our people’s fervent prayers and support for you in your endeavours.
“As you turn 61 years old today in your amazingly blessed earthly journey, we pray that God showers you with more of His abundant grace, mercies and wisdom to do greater exploits in your private and public life to the glory of His name.
“Happy Birthday, Your Excellency”, the statement concluded.
