Senator Ede Dafinone representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly has felicitated Chief Paulinus Akpeki, (aka, Ugo of Okpe Kingdom) and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta Central, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a seasoned politician and a pillar of party stability in Delta State.
In a goodwill message to the Ugolo of Okpe kingdom, Dafinone praised Akpeki’s long-standing contributions to democratic governance, recalling his impactful service as a former Member of the House of Representatives and Commissioner in Delta State.
He noted that Akpeki’s experience, strategic insight, and commitment to inclusive leadership have continued to shape party cohesion and political discourse in the state.
He said: “Chief Akpeki’s contributions to the growth of democracy and party politics in Delta State remain significant and enduring.
“As a former Member of the House of Representatives and a former Commissioner in Delta State, he brought depth, experience, and purpose to governance, consistently demonstrating a firm grasp of policy, grassroots mobilisation, and inclusive leadership.
“His strategic insight has continued to shape political discourse and party cohesion in Delta State”, he noted.
He also commended Akpeki’s role “as a mentor and stabilising force within the APC, attributing the party’s growing strength in Delta Central to his resilience and deep understanding of grassroots politics”, praying for more of God’s blessings for good health, peace and many more years of fruitful service to mankind.
