Recent effort by the President Tinubu-led government at checkmating the upsurge in insecurity in the country has been commended by the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone.
The office of the National Security Adviser recently unveiled the National Counter-Terrorism Centre’s Strategic Plan (2025-2030) with a view to strengthening the national security architecture, especially at such a time that the wave of banditry and kidnapping have taken a new dimension.
Dafinone who joined the Senate President, top security chiefs, and other distinguished national leaders at the official launch of the comprehensive strategic plan in Abuja recently. described the recent initiative as a significant milestone, applauded it as a forward-looking roadmap for combating terrorism and violent extremism across the country.
“This development is commendable. It is a major step forward in strengthening Nigeria’s security framework and national resilience,” he said.
The national lawmaker expressed his commitment to supporting national initiatives, stressing that it will ensure the protection of citizens and foster stability in all parts of the country.
“I remain committed to supporting initiatives that improve safety, protect our communities, and reinforce the structures that keep our nation secure. Together, we will build a safer and more resilient Nigeria,” he added.
