The Commissioner representing Delta State in the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya, has received accolades from no less a leader than Senator Ede Dafinone, as the former celebrates his birth anniversary.
In a goodwill message to the celebrant who is a former Rt. Honourable Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, on behalf of the entire Urhobo, Senator Dafinone described him as a great grassroots mobilizer and an advocate of development, adding that his wealth of experience in the public service and lawmaking are inspiring beacons to the younger generation.
“On behalf of the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, I, Senator Ede Dafinone, heartily felicitates Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya, former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and current Delta State Representative on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on the occasion of his birthday.
“Rt. Hon. Igbuya has distinguished himself as a patriotic son of Delta State, a grassroots mobiliser, and an advocate of development in the Niger Delta. His wealth of experience in public service and his contributions to legislative governance remain is commendable and continue to inspire young leaders.
“As a representative of Delta State in the NDDC, he has continued to bring his characteristic dedication, and vision to bear in the drive for infrastructural growth and human capital development in our region”, Dafinone noted.
On this special occasion, Senator Dafinone who Hails from Sapele Local Government Area as the celebrant, prayed for God’s continuous blessings, good health and wisdom upon the NDDC Commissioner, to enable him deliver more people-oriented service to the people.
“On this special day, I pray for God’s abundant blessings upon his life. May he enjoys many more years in good health, greater wisdom, and renewed strength to continue his service to Delta State, the Niger Delta, and Nigeria”, Dafinone concluded.
