The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Ede Dafinone, has extolled the sterling contributions of Chief Ighoyota Amori on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.
Dafinone whose goodwill message was contained in a press release he issued today Thursday 7th August, 2025, described the ‘Odidimadi’ of Mosogar kingdom and chieftain of the APC, as a symbol of resilience, service and leadership, adding that his contributions to politics has earned him recognition across the country.
The lawmaker further described the elder statesman as a towering figure in Nigeria’s political space and a respected custodian of Urhobo tradition, lauding him for his dedicating his service to the mentorship of younger politicians, the development of Delta State and, the. Urhobo nation.
“Chief Amori remains a towering figure in our national political landscape and a respected custodian of Urhobo tradition.
“Over the years, his unwavering commitment to public service, political mentorship, and cultural leadership has earned him a revered place among Nigeria’s most dependable elder statesmen.
“His dedication to the unity and progress of the Urhobo Nation and the development of Delta State is commendable and deeply appreciated”, Dafinone stated.
The national lawmaker further prayed for God’s continued blessings on the celebrant, wishing him good health, renewed strength, and divine wisdom in his ongoing efforts to shape public discourse and promote Urhobo heritage.
