The chairman of the Concerned Egbema Indigenes, Gen. Silas Torunwei has, on behalf of the youth body, expressed support for the newly-installed monarch, HRM Napoleon Egin, Agadagba of Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local Government Area.

Gen Silas Toruwei commended the Egbema Traditional Council of Chiefs for their unalloyed support and total commitment in ensuring that things were done in accordance to the traditional procedure to ensure that Egbema kingdom for the emergence of the new monarch.

It would be recalled that the traditional procedure of the kingdom recently produced HRM Napoleon.Egin, a lawyer and a notable personality of the kingdom as the new monarch.

The Chairman Concerned Egbema Indigene, Gen Silas Toruwei, while briefing journalists on the recent development in his kingdom, said that the kingdom should not be distracted by any individual or group of individuals whatsoever, adding that, they should focus on issues that will bring development to the kingdom

He admonished all the youths to respect constituted authorities and desist from activities that are inimical to the peace and development of the kingdom, adding that there is need for everyone to be prudent in their speech, especially while addressing Egbema sons and daughters who are representatives of the kingdom.

In a related development, a prominent youth leader, Iyke Saturday Egbekimi, has described the Executive Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area Koko, Delta State. Hon. Capt Smart Yomi Asekutu (aka IGOFINIWEI 1 of Egbema Kingdom) as their liberator who came into office, saw the suppression they were experiencing in the kingdom area for decades, and resolved it through his administration’s peace and good governance initiatives.

Egbekini stated this when the youths of the kingdom trooped out in their numbers to thank the Council Chairman for the emergence of their illustrious son His Royal Majesty, Barr Naploean S. Egin as the new Agadagba-elect of Egbema Kingdom, adding that for the first time in the history of the kingdom, the Council Chairman has “made the impossible possible when your administration came on board, despite the enormous responsibilities on your shoulder, you never neglected or ignored addressing these aspects of man inhumanity to man.

“You handled these alongside the huge developmental projects in the Council making sure Egbema Kingdom gets it all right.

“As a leader endowed with good conscience and fear of God, you took a bold step in addressing this ugly trend”, he said.

Also speaking earlier during a town hall meeting, another youth leader, Commander Raphael Nimi, endorsed His Royal Majesty, Barr. Napoleon S Egin, adding that he has the requisite experience to serve as King in the kingdom.

According to him, the monarch-elect has demonstrated enough goodwill across Egbema Kingdom, adding that his leadership qualities, stand him out as the most preferred one to be chosen.

”For youth inclusive governance, the monarch-elect is number one. As long as his vision is youthful, the youth of the kingdom are with him.

“I call on all the youths in the kingdom to see his Administration as one that would benefit and give youths in Egbema Kingdom a voice,” he stated.

Commander Nimi lamented that for a long time, the youths of the kingdom were not part allowed to be part of the decision-making body in the kingdom, hence the need for them to support Royal Majesty Barr. Napoleon S. Egin Esq. because of his youthful disposition.

He further maintained that His Royal Majesty Barr Napoleon Egin has demonstrated enormous seriousness and commitment towards Egbema Kingdom to foster unity and oneness.In view of the fact that he is a youth, the youths of the kingdom will have no choice than to throw their weight behind him for A New Egbema.
