Growing at an exponential rate, the chances of grabbing a second term for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the next election, keeps looking bright by the day as a group, ‘Tinubu Must Rule Again’, TMRA, has promised to mobilize 9 million votes for the President in 2027, just as the group honoured the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Ede Dafinone as its Patron.
The National Chairman of the Tinubu Must Rule Again (TMRA), Dr. Marvel Omars, disclosed this recently, when the group paid a courtesy visit to Senator Ede Dafinone to declare their commitment to the success of President Tinubu in 2027 and also to present the Senator whom the group had already nominated as its Patron, an Achievements Award.
He declared that the group’s commitment to mobilizing grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections was on course.
According to him, the group which was birthed a few months ago, has already established its presence in the 36 States of the federation and the FCT, including all the 774 LGAs and wards, adding that the membership keeps increasing every day.
In the calculation of the group, it is already positioned itself to deliver a minimum of 50 votes from each polling unit across the country, pointing out that with that result, it will garner a minimum of 9 million votes for the President cone 2027.
“TMRA is designed to galvanize and mobilise massive support for our principal, the President, and all APC candidates. We are poised to disabuse and disengage the criticisms of the opposition and ensure resounding victory in 2027,” Omars stated.
The national chairman further explained that another agenda of the visit, was to nominate him as the group’s Patron and also to present him with the TMR Personality Achievements Award.
Omar’s further explained that it was soliciting for financial support towards the planned inauguration of TMRA’s national and state executives in Abuja, adding that the inauguration of the Delta State chapter will be hosted by the Patron, Senator Ede Dafinone.
He commended Senator Dafinone’s leadership qualities, describing his representation of his constituents
as trusted and reliable, even as he assured that TMRA would work with him and other party leaders to consolidate support for the APC ahead of the next election cycle.
In his response, Senator Dafinone, expressed gratitude to the group for the honour, describing the recognition as an encouragement to remain steadfast in delivering quality representation and democratic dividends to his constituents.
He also commended the group for its planned nationwide grassroots mobilization, adding that their target of 9 million votes in 2027 clearly indicates their preparedness and commitment.
“This award is not just for me as an individual but for the good people of Delta Central whom I represent in the Senate. It is a call to continue serving with integrity, transparency, and dedication,” the senator said.
“The target you have set for 2027 is ambitious but achievable. With unity of purpose and effective mobilisation, TMRA will play a significant role in delivering victory for our President, our party, and democracy in Nigeria,” Dafinone added.
