As the grassroots continue to form the nucleus and focus of Nigeria body politic and development, a true leader and representative is defined by the unwavering commitment to the cause of the masses rather than mere names and titles that create no positive impact on the Constituents..
This is the assertion of the Ibori Suenu Grassroots Network (ISGN), an organization set in motion to coordinate the political activities of the one and only Ethiope Federal Constituency’s representative in the Green chamber and the Amazon of Niger Delta, Rt. Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu.
Making this assertion in a release recently, in the wake of the forthcoming APC National Convention, the Director of Media of the organization, Dr. Henry Ofa P.hD, stated that leadership that improves lives directly has become “the
true barometer of measuring political success and effectiveness in constituencies”.
According to the group, the growing support across the federal constituency for the Project Erhiatake 2027 is not just mere rhetoric but a narrative that transforms into concrete and visible tangibles that attract overwhelming endorsement based on proven track records and commitment to deliverables.
“In Ethiope Federal Constituency, the discussion surrounding the 2027 election is already settled, focused confidently on one individual: Rt. Hon. (Mrs) Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu.
“For her constituents, supporting Ibori-Suenu is not just about voting; it is an endorsement of proven ability, deep empathy, and a steadfast commitment to delivering results”, Ofa averred.
According to him, “moving beyond the shadow of a legendary political lineage, Hon. Ibori-Suenu has carved out an identity defined by action. As a member of the House of Representatives, she has established a track record built on purposeful legislation, targeted community empowerment, and direct engagement with the people of Ethiope East and West”, he noted.
The group also averred that the mutual love and oneness that characterize the constituents constituting both sides of River Ethiope is rested in the safeness, security and the equitable representation of the entire federal constituency, adding that her human capital development and vocal presence in the Green chamber are clear evidence that Ethiope Federal Constituency is in a safe hand.
“To describe the constituency as being in “safe hands” is to acknowledge a representative who treats governance as a practical responsibility. It is evident in the tangible infrastructure improvements, the focus on human capital development, and the voice she has given her constituents at the national level.
“As the political landscape moves toward 2027, the case for continuity is overwhelmingly compelling. In a political landscape often littered with unfulfilled promises, she provides a steady hand”, the group emphasized.
Dr. Ofa also stressed on the quality representation which the Amazon of Ethiope Federal Constituency has been offering her people, though Abuja the situation of power may be hundreds of miles away, Hon. Erhiatake has made it looks like a distance between a the room and a parlour, adding that her regular accessibility has been a subject of attraction.
“While representation can sometimes feel distant, she remains accessible. She offers not merely experience, but a growing national stature and the political skill necessary to drive economic diversification, security, and development.
